We copied an artifact from The Black Tomb. It is the largest grave (mound) in the city of Chernihiv, an ancient Ukrainian city (one of the most important cities of Kyivan Rus).

The Black Tomb was researched by an archaeologist, a native of Chernihiv Dmytro Samokvasov in the 1870s. Burial in the grave of a man and a woman was performed according to the rite of cremation. The buried were burned at the stake in full military armor. The burial hearth and bones of two noble warriors and a slave, weapons, tools, household items, utensils, jewelry, coins, etc. were found. Next to the weapon were an iron vessel with ram bones and a bronze brazier with coal. At the feet of the buried are two saddled horses. Ten sickles were placed at the woman's feet. The western part of the hearth was occupied by twelve buckets in a semicircle, from which an iron shell remained, and two iron vessels. Numerous ornaments, belt tips, gold and silver ingots - the remains of ornaments melted in the fire, a bronze vessel with dice, keys, locks, axes, and chisels - were found at the place where the dead lay.
