It is a replica of a medieval artifact from the times of Kyivan Rus (Ukraine), which was found on the territory of Ukraine. Obviously, this was an image of the World Tree, the Eternal Tree of Life - a common motif of mythologies and religions, a symbolic model of space. The World Tree serves as a personification of the unity of the universe, where its roots correspond to the afterlife, the foot of the trunk - the world of people, and the crown - the world of the gods. Often the tree of life has two guards on each side. In this case, they are zoomorphic figures.
Interestingly, one of the main versions of the origin of the trident, which was a princely symbol in Kyivan Rus', and is now the emblem of Ukraine. Some researchers believe that the trident is a stylized tree of life.
